Subdivision Applications
The RM of Parkdale is seeing increasing population growth and more requests are being received for subdivision applications within the Municipality. All subdivision applications require the submission of a Plan of Proposed Subdivision, drafted by a Saskatchewan Land Surveyor; in conjunction with a Subdivision Application that is submitted to the provincial approving authority called the Community Planning Branch located in Saskatoon, SK. The Community Planning Branch reviews the subdivision to ensure it abides by provincial regulations (such as the Statements of Provincial Interest) prior to forwarding the application to the local RM Council to ensure compliance with the local Basic Planning Statement and Zoning Bylaw. Once the application has been received, the RM is required to notify all nearby landowners within 75 metres of the affected land in question and host a Public Hearing, which will be notified on our Public Notices webpage. For more information about subdivisions please contact RM Administration .
